Dig into Divine Darkness

These days, it seems like the only thing around us is darkness. And it’s so easy to just succumb to complacency. To give up. To curl up in a ball under the covers and hide from the world.

But not all darknesses are the same.

When we plant a seed, we place it into the darkness of soil. When an egg is fertilized by a sperm, those cells grow to form a baby in the darkness of a womb.

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year, but it’s also the start of more light into our days. This is the time for us to pause. It’s an invitation to hunker down into our cozy caves and go within. To take inventory and see what no longer serves our highest good. To plant seeds for a better tomorrow.

It’s time for us to rest and restore. To recharge in the nourishment of Earth’s darkness — her incubator.

We must slow down and be present in our lives, be connected to our bodies if we are to successfully fight for líbëration in sustainable ways. We need to be able to amplify our own light.

For 21 days, we’ll dig into
the divine darkness together.

This is a journey for women, femmes, and non-binary folks of color that will feel like a burrowing into the earth. One that will restore & nourish, encourage rest, and cultivate peace.

How does it work?

There will be kickoff zoom call on Saturday, Dec 21st at 11am ET. We’ll connect with each other, get an overview of the 21 days, and set intentions.

Then, you’ll receive an email each morning for the next 3 weeks, inviting you to go within— to connect with your inner self. Sometimes, it will be a journaling prompt. Other times, it can be a song to listen to or a meditation to practice. Whatever it is, the intent is the same: to go deep within, explore the mysteries you hold, and nourish yourself.

We will continue our community connection through a group chat on Signal where we can share our experiences, ask our questions, and present our challenges. We can offer and ask for support as we go on this journey together.

And then we’ll close our sacred circle with a call on Friday, January 10th at 10am ET.
